MEET YOUR FARMERS: WILD EAST FARM

Led by Lyric and Noah East, this is your designated farm, making it easy to participate and build a relationship with where your food comes from.

Experience the difference: Seasonal produce from WNC soil

❋ More nutritious food

When it comes to our food, the most nutrient-dense options are likely those grown closest to your home. Food that travels short distances to your home retains nutrients that would otherwise degrade with time and over-handling from long food chains.

❋ More resilient food system

We’ve seen severe disruptions of food supply systems in the last decade. Build your family’s food resilience by growing a partnership with local growers who can get food to your table quickly and affordably.

❋ More ethical food sourcing

When you shop local, you can feel good about how the humans in the food chain are treated. These people are your neighbors, employed equitably and caring of our community.

❋ More trustworthy food partner

Most grocery store produce travels 1500 miles or more to get to you. It’s difficult to really know what your food goes through in that journey. With a local grower, transparency is at the heart of your food sourcing.

Join your neighbors in bringing fresh, local food to The Avery each week.
